The highest rainfall of 2 inches was recorded in Sayla taluka of Surendranagar yesterday. Then Amreli, Morbi, Jamnagar, Kutch, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, including normal rainfall is recorded.
Yesterday, a webinar of Weather Watch Group was held from Gandhinagar today in the place of Harshad R. Patel, Relief Commissioner, and Additional Secretary. The meteorological department has forecast light to moderate rains in the next five days.

The state has received 1051.22 mm of rainfall so far
Giving details to the media at the State Emergency Operations Center after the Weather Watch Group's webinar, Relief Commissioner Harshad Patel said that from 6.00 am to 4 pm today, 5 talukas received 1 mm to 6 mm of rain. The highest rainfall of 6 mm has been recorded in Dwarka taluka of Devbhoomi Dwarka district. The state has received 1051.22 mm of rainfall till 15/09/2020. Which is 126.50% compared to the state average of 831 mm in the last thirty years.

An estimated 85.83 lakh hectares of Kharif crops have been planted this year
It was stated in the meeting by the agriculture department that an estimated 85.83 lakh hectares of Kharif crops have been planted in the state till 14/09/2020 this year. During the same period last year, 85.29 lakh hectares were planted. This year, 101.10 percent has been planted against the average planted area of the last three years.

90.51 percent of the total water storage in 205 reservoirs of the state
According to the Irrigation Department, 3,26,127 MCFT of water has been stored in Sardar Sarovar reservoir, the lifeline of Gujarat. Which is 97.62 percent of the total storage capacity? The total water storage in 205 reservoirs of the state is 90.51 percent. At present there are 168 reservoirs on high alert, 10 reservoirs on high alert, and 09 reservoirs on warning in the state.
