The number of active cases in the country has been steadily declining for over a month. In this regard, India is now ranked second to third. Only 4.34 per cent of the patients are undergoing treatment here. The United States tops the list with 26 percent, followed by France with 11 percent. Italy and Belgium are also in the top-5.

The number of corona patients in the country has crossed 83 lakh.  Of relief, 76 lakh 54 thousand 757 people have recovered, while 5 lakh 33 thousand 27 patients are currently undergoing treatment.




Cases began to rise again in 4 states

Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan told a press conference that the number of active cases in Manipur, Delhi, Kerala and West Bengal has increased sharply in November as compared to October. There were 2000 active cases in Manipur in early October, which has now risen to 3500.


In Delhi, the number of active cases has increased from 26,000 to 33,000, in Kerala from 77,000 to 86,000 and in West Bengal from 26,000 to 36,000. Focusing on testing, tracing and treatment is needed to prevent this. Bhushan said the overall positive rate of transition has come down from 8 per cent to 7.4 per cent. The weekly positive rate also fell from 5.2 per cent to 4.4 per cent and the daily positivity rate to 3.7 per cent.


Corona updates

Statistics from Delhi show that the third wave of the Corona transition is underway here. According to official figures, private hospitals here have 837 full out of 1244 ICU beds with ventilators. As far as government hospitals are concerned, only 11 out of 200 ICU beds in LNJP are vacant. 

One out of 54 beds in Safdarjung Hospital and three out of 50 beds in the AIIMS Trauma Center are vacant.


According to a recent report by Home Credit India, about 46 percent of Indians took out a home-based loan during the Corona epidemic. Most of the loans were taken from relatives and friends.


Rajasthan and Odisha have banned the sale and purchase of fireworks in view of the rising number of cases of corona. If anyone is seen selling firecrackers in Rajasthan, he will have to pay a fine of Rs 10,000, while anyone who breaks fireworks will be fined Rs 2,000.


Status of five states
1. Madhya Pradesh





The state received 667 new patients on Tuesday, with 912 patients recovering. So far 1 lakh 73 thousand 384 cases have been received. Of these, 1 lakh 62 thousand 366 patients have been cured, 2794 infected have died and 8044 patients are undergoing treatment.


2. Rajasthan



The state received 1,725 ​​infected on Tuesday, with 1,219 patients recovering. So far 1 lakh 73 thousand 384 cases have been received. Out of this 1 lakh 62 thousand 366 patients have been cured, 2794 infected people have died.

3. Bihar



So far 2 lakh 18 thousand 964 cases have come to light. Out of this 2 lakh 10 thousand 855 patients have been cured. 1108 infected people have died. A total of 7000 patients are now undergoing treatment.

4. Maharashtra



On Tuesday, 4909 patients were found in the state, 6973 infected recovered and 120 died. So far 16 lakh 92 thousand 693 people have been infected. Out of this 15 lakh 31 thousand 277 patients have been cured. The disease has also claimed the lives of 44,248 people. At present 1 lakh 16 thousand 593 patients are undergoing treatment.

5. Uttar Pradesh





 1726 people were found positive in the state on Tuesday. Of these, 2210 people recovered and 13 died. The total number of patients has reached 4 lakh 87 thousand 335 so far. Of these, 4 lakh 57 thousand 708 people have recovered, 7089 people have lost their lives. So far a total of 22 thousand 538 patients are undergoing treatment.
