After State Bank of India (SBI), Kotak Mahindra has also reduced interest rates on home loans. The bank has reduced it by 10 basis points (bps). Since then, home loan interest rates have fallen to 6.65%. This interest rate is lower than any bank or NBFC. The new interest rates have come into effect from March 1.

This is a special offer of the bank which is applicable till March 31, 2021. This applies to all loan accounts. According to the private lender, the interest rate will be linked to the borrower's credit score and loan-to-value ratio. This rate will also apply to home loans and balance transfer loans. This interest rate applies to all amounts.

SBI also cut interest rates
SBI also cut interest rates from March 1. This brings SBI's home loan to 6.70 per cent. According to the bank, the offer will be valid only till March 31, 2021. Not only that, SBI has announced a 100% waiver of processing fees till March 31. That means you will save about 1% on your total loan. Processing fees usually range from 0.8% to 1%.
