, according to State Election Commission sources. The Supreme Court has given a clear order to complete the process before the end of February, with the head allowed to administer. Under these circumstances, polling is likely to be held in both phases from February 21 to 25.

The State Election Commission is not offering the option of online voting for any ward seat this time, but candidates will be allowed to fill out online forms in the event of a Corona epidemic.

The voter list will be released after deliberations.
Earlier, the State Election Commission had organized a meeting with the Municipal Corporations via video conference regarding the local body elections to be held in February. In which training was provided to the election staff by the Election Commissioner.

In this regard, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Sudhir K. Patel said the meeting was held as part of preparations for the upcoming local body elections in the coming days. The list will be released to the public and political parties after a discussion on how to prepare the voter list and its parts. And after their introduction, the list will be updated.

BJP is already working hard to
win the upcoming local body elections in the state, especially the BJP has started searching for a winning face for the Congress, as it was difficult for the BJP to win the 2015 elections. The Congress got more seats in panchayats and palikas i.e. in rural areas, so the BJP has now increased its contacts with local Congress leaders.
