Corona cut police recruitment budgets by 2900 vacancies
The state Home Department has approved a total of 7,610 new posts in the police. Recruitment will be conducted soon. A total of 10,506 posts were sanctioned in the budget as per the DGP's proposal to increase the posts of all police commissionerates, district units and railway police as well as dog squads for crime prevention, VVIP coverage. As per the provision of Rs 15.10 crore, 7,610 posts have been sanctioned.
