The term broadcasting means the transmission of radio or video content using radio frequency waves. With the recent advancement in digital technology, radio broadcasting now applies to many different types of content distribution. Analog Radio

Analog radio consists of two main types: AM and FM. Analog radio station frequently feeds only one transmitter and referred to as an AM station or an FM station in the U. S. Digital Radio

Four standard for digital radio system exist worldwide: IBOC, DAB, ISDB and DRM. All are different from each other in several respect.

IBOC:

a company named iBiquity Digital corporation, with a trademarked name of HD radio, developed IBOC and still continues to manage it. Introduced for a regular use in 2003, it’s now in frequent in the U. S. More than 2,000 u. S. AM and FM station are using the IBOC digital radio services today.

DAB:

Also known as Eureka 147 in the U. S. And as digital radio in the U. K. DAB comes with a number of advantage similar to IBOC. But it is fundamentally different in its design. Recently, improved version of DAB, known as DAB+ and DAB IP, have been developed.

ISDB-TSB:

Specifically developed for Japan in 2003, ISDB TSB is the digital radio system used for multi program services. It is currently using transmission frequencies in the VHF band. A unique features of ISDB TSB is that the digital radio channel are intermingled with ISDB digital TV channels in the similar broadcast.

DRM:

DRM is a system developed primarily as a direct substitute for AM international broadcasting in the short wave band. DRM uses the similar channel plan as the analog services and with some limitations and changes to the analog service. A DRM broadcast can share the same channel with an analog station. Existing channel allocation DRM is a single audio channel system when used with.

Eligibility:- The student studying in class VIII and must have secured 55% marks
(for general category) or 50% marks (for reserve category i.e. SC/ST/PH) in class
VII. The annual income of the parents of the student appearing in the examination
should not exceed Rs. 1,50,000/-( Rs one lac fifty thousand only) from all sources. 

Under this scheme, it is proposed to award 100,000 scholarships to the gifted or meritorious students whose parental income is not more than Rs 1,50,000/- per annum from all sources. Each State /UT shall have fixed quota of scholarship which will be decided on the basis of enrolment of students in Class VII and VIII in the State/UT concerned and population of children of concerned age group of class VII and VIII. The scheme would provide reservation to different categories of students as per the State/UT norms; as different States/UTs have their own norms of reservation. However, the total number of scholarships to a particular State UT may be restricted to the allocation made by the Central Government. 1.2 These scholarships will be provided quarterly to the students studying as regular students in class IX in government, local body and government-aided schools. The scholarships will be paid from class IX till class XII for a maximum period of four years.


NMMS Scholarship Class 8th Syllabus 2022
In order to prepare for the NMMS scholarship exam 2022, the students must prepare as per the prescribed syllabus by the exam conducting body.

The exam question paper of Mental Ability Test (MAT) will cover the multiple – choice questions from topics like analogy, classification, numerical series, pattern perception, hidden figure etc. The complete question paper will be based on verbal and non – verbal meta – cognitive skills such as reasoning and critical thinking.
The question paper of Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) will cover the class 7th and 8th syllabus subjects as mathematics, social science, science, general knowledge etc.
The students can refer to the NCERT books to complete the syllabus of NMMS scholarship.
For the MAT paper the mental math books of class 7th can be referred to by the students.

NMMS Scholarship 2022 – Books
The students must study from the experts recommended books in order to qualify the NMMS exam 2020. The referred books are provided below:

The NCERT books of class VIII for Mathematics, Social Science, and Science.
The books of class VII should also be referred by the students to understand the basic concepts of the subjects.
Apart from the syllabus books, the students must buy the practice paper of NMMS exam provided by various publishers.

NMMS Scholarship 2022 – Exam Pattern
