Upcoming: Price of Mahindra Thar announced before launch, find out which variant will fit in your budget from the list





The new Mahindra Thar will be sold in four trim AX Manual, AX Optional, LX Manual, and LX Auto
The company claims that it will have a top speed of 165 km per hour, its fuel tank capacity is 57 liters.
The price of the new Mahindra Thar will be officially released on October 2. But before that, its price list has been leaked on social media. The company held the global premiere of its second-generation Thar on August 15. She is one of the most awaited models right now. However, the company has not given any explanation about the leaked price and we will have to wait till October 2 for the actual prices.

The most expensive model is priced at Rs 12.49 lakh

The new generation Mahindra Thar will be sold in AX Manual Fixed Soft Top, AX Manual Optional Convertible Soft Top, LX Manual Hard Top, and LX Auto Hard Top variants. According to the leaked price list, the off-roader will have a starting price of Rs 9.75 lakh, which will be the price of its base petrol model and will go up to Rs 12.49 lakh for the LX Auto four-seater hardtop petrol variant.
The AX Optional Convertible Soft Top will cost Rs 10.25 lakh for petrol and Rs 10.99 lakh for the diesel.

 On the other hand, the LX manual hardtop will cost Rs 11.20 lakh for the diesel. Notably, this is the initial price for customers who book after September 20 and whose delivery will take place around the second week of October.

The new Mahindra Thar will be smaller than four meters in length and has a height of 2,450mm, with a wheelbase of 1,844mm. It is given a fuel tank with a capacity of 57 liters and the ground clearance is 228mm. The company claims that it will have a top speed of 165 kmph. It will get a 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel and a new 2.0-liter medallion turbocharged and direct-in-injection petrol engine.
Both are paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Diesel engines generate 130bhp and 320Nm of torque, while petrol engines generate 150bhp and 320Nm of torque. Available with 4 × 4 transfer case with standard mechanical differential lock.
AX (Adventure) and LX (Lifestyle) variants include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, semi-digital instrument console with MID, cruise control, key-entry, multi-functional steering wheel with mounted control, wheeled wheel, wheel, Equipped with x advanced features like TPMS.
