Caution: How appropriate is it to breastfeed a baby from a bottle?

Nowadays women prefer bottle feeding instead of breastfeeding newborns. But according to experts, if a woman is able to breastfeed, the baby should be kept away from bottled milk for at least six months. Breast milk strengthens the immune system for babies and promotes good physical and mental development.

There is also an emotional bond between mother and child. While bottle-fed babies have a number of problems. But if the mother does not produce milk and for some other reason the mother is not able to breastfeed the baby, it is possible to breastfeed in this way with the advice of experts.

Learn what causes damage

The biggest disadvantage of bottle feeding is that the baby does not get the nutrients from breast milk. Breast milk helps the baby grow naturally. And by acting like an antibody in it, it saves the child from getting sick.

The bottles are made of plastic. Mostly the mother puts warm milk in it. At such times, there is also a danger of mixing plastic elements in the milk.

The bottle needs to be thoroughly cleaned and sterilized. If the bottle is not well sterilized, the bacteria deposited in the bottle can enter the body of the child and cause a physical problem.

If the bottle is accidentally left in the baby's mouth, the risk of choking, ear infections as well as children's tooth decay increases.

If it is necessary to drink milk from a bottle

Always give formula milk to babies if a woman has a problem and wants to drink milk from a bottle. Keep the baby's position the same as when feeding from a bottle, at the same time as you are breastfeeding. When breastfeeding, keep in mind that the baby's head should be kept low.
