State secondary school students will not be required to go to school even after 21st September for study guides. Only then will a decision be made.

Informing the media after a discussion on the issue at a state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani here today, the education minister said the decision was taken in the interest of students in view of the current Corona situation in the state. For this, according to the SOP announced by the Central Government, students of Std. 9 to 12 will be able to go to school for study purposes with the written consent of the parents. Implementation of the SOP of this Center is optional for the States and the State Government will have to decide on the implementation of the SOP of this Center taking into account the present Corona situation in the State, the guidelines of the Central Government said. In these circumstances, the Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has decided to keep in view the health of the students that it would not be advisable for the students studying in Std.

The Centre's SOP will be implemented for permission to go to school for guidance with parental approval
Commenting on the decision, Minister of State for Home Affairs Pradipsinh said that the Centre's SOP guidelines for Std. 9 to 12 were optional and the final decision rested with the state government. The Centre's SOP will be implemented to allow parents to go to school for guidance with parental approval. The central government had given an exemption to the states for SOP. The assembly session will be held from September 21. This monsoon session will last for 5 days. As well as 24 government bills will be introduced in the session. All legislators will be tested in Corona.

Two days ago there was a discussion about when to start schools
When the state government met two days ago to discuss the new education policy, it discussed when schools should start. Schools closed in the state from March 16
Earlier, at the time of Corona's entry into Gujarat, i.e. on March 15, the state government had decided to close all schools, colleges, and educational institutions in Gujarat for two weeks from March 16, i.e. till March 29.
