1. How much difference in price?



The Apple Watch Series 3 is the company's third-generation watch. The basic variant is priced at Rs 20,900. The price of the new variant has not been announced. Its basic variant has a GPS feature. So the GPS variant of the company's latest SE watch starts at Rs 29,900. Its GPS + cellular variant is priced at Rs 33,900. This means that SE Series 3 is 9 thousand rupees more expensive.

2. Case size gap



The 42mm and 38mm case size variants of the Series 3 have been launched. So the company has also launched 2 variants of SE, 44mm, and 40mm. Both the base and top variants have a spacing of 2mm. This means that the SE has a larger display than the Series 3.

3. Distance in display size



The 38mm variant of the Series 3 has a resolution of 272x340 pixels and the 42mm resolution has 312x390 pixels. On the other hand, the 40mm variant of the Watch SE has a resolution of 324x394 pixels and the 44mm variant has a resolution of 368x448 pixels. Both watches have retina displays. Both watches are swim-proof. The company claims that the SE gets 30% more displays than the Series 3.

4. Features of both watches



Both watches do not have a blood oxygen sensor or an ECG. The Watch SE will feature a second-generation optical heart rate sensor, Emergency SOS. This feature will also be available in Series 3.



Series 3 will not have the International Emergency Calling feature while the Watch SE will have this feature. SE has call detection, compass, and always on the altimeter. The Series 3 only has an altimeter. The SE speaker is 50% louder. Both the variants of SE have 32GB of storage in GPS and cellular. The GPS variant of the Series 3 comes with 8GB of storage.

5. Distance between chip, connectivity, and battery
The Series 3 comes with an S3 dual-core processor and a W2 Apple wireless chip. The Watch SE comes with an S5 64-bit dual-core processor and a W3 Apple wireless chip. Both watches come with WiFi 802.11b / g / n 2.4GHz. However, the SE has Bluetooth 5.0 and the series has Bluetooth 4.2. Both watches are equipped with a magnetic charging cable. The battery backup of both the watches is 18 hours.
