South Korean tech company LG on Wednesday launched its rotating screen smartphone LG Wing in India. One screen of the phone can be rotated up to 90 degrees. The phone can also be used as a regular (one screen) phone. The phone looks a bit big and heavy as it has dual screen. The company has already launched this phone globally.

The 128GB storage variant of this smartphone is priced at Rs 69,990 in India. Aurora Green and Illusion Sky color variants of the phone can be purchased. Its first sale will start from November 9. Its basic variant is priced at KRW 1,098,900 (approximately Rs. 71,600) in South Korea. This price is for its 256GB storage variant. However, its 256GB storage variant has not been launched in India.

Specifications and features of LG Wing

• The LG Wing's main screen is a 6.8-inch curved P-OLED. It has full HD + resolution and 20.5: 9 high aspect ratio.
• The second screen is made of G-OLED panel, which supports full HD + resolution. Its screen size is 3.9 inches, which is small compared to the main screen. It has an aspect ratio of 1.15: 1.
• The company says the device is designed to be swivel, with a dual spring and dual lock mechanism on the hinge that allows the main screen to be rotated. It also has a hydraulic damper for less jerking time than rotating the screen.
• According to the company, this technology allows the LG wing to run up to 200,000. LG has a POM (Poly Oxy Methylene) coating on the bottom of the main screen so that it does not scratch the other screen while rotating the main screen.
• The phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option available. This is the company's first phone to feature a pop-up camera. The phone's storage can be expanded up to 2TB with the help of SD card.
• The phone has a 32MP single selfie camera. The triple rear camera setup is attached to the rectangular shop in a vertical position on the back panel. It includes a 64MP primary rear camera, a 12MP Ultravide camera and a 13MP Ultravide camera.
• The phone comes with options like 5G, 4G LTE-A, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, GPS / A-GPS and USB Type-C port for connectivity. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
• The phone has a 4,000mAh battery, which supports Quick Charge 4.0 + 25W fast charging. Also comes with 10W wireless charging support. The phone weighs 260 grams.

LG Velvet

The company has also launched Velvet in India with Wing. This smartphone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. It has a triple rear camera setup. The basic variant of the phone is priced at Rs 36,990. The phone is priced at Rs 49,990 with dual screen accessories. The sale of the phone will start on October 30.
