If you are a woman and traveling alone in a train, there is no need to be afraid. You can travel with Bindas. For your safety, Indian Railways has launched 'Meri Saheli' campaign. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has set up a women's wing for this. This team of RPF will sensitize women tourists and provide necessary information to women traveling alone.

Complain to 'Mary Saheli'
If a female passenger traveling in a train is harassed or has any other problem, they can complain to 'Mary Saheli'. He will be helped. According to the instructions issued by the Railway Board, the team will monitor the movement of women tourists. This process will take place at each station. You can give instructions by calling the railway helpline number 182. This campaign will prevent a lot of crime.

In the 'Mary Saheli' campaign, the RPF has kept only female employees. The initiative was first launched by Western Railway in two major trains. These include Train No. 12955 Mumbai Central-Jaipur Superfast Express and Train No. 02925 Bandra Terminus-Amritsar Special Train.
