The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday released the datesheet for the 10th and 12th standard board examinations. The date sheet came just three months before the exam. So that the students can prepare accordingly. 10th and 12th standard examinations will start from 4th May. The 10th standard exams will run till June 7, while the 12th standard exams will run till June 11.
Exams are two and a half months late, but this time the schedule is less.
CBSE exams have been delayed by about two and a half months this time. Last year, it started on February 15th. The year 2020 had a schedule of 45 days. In the year 2021, it has been reduced to 39 days. This time around 30 lakh students may appear for the CBSE board exams.

The practical examination of both the classes will start from March 1. Also, the result will be announced by July 15. The Education Minister announced the date of CBSE 10th and 12th standard board exams on December 31 in a live webinar. The datesheet has been released today, meaning which paper will be on which date.
The
CBSE has said that the 12th standard examination will be conducted in two shifts to complete the examination in a few days. The second shift will examine subjects which are not taught in CBSE schools located abroad. Exams will be held in the first shift from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and in the second shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The answer book will be given in the morning shift from 10 am to 10:15 pm and the answer book will be given from 2 pm to 2:15 pm. Students will then have 15 minutes to read the question paper.
Multiple Choice Questions will be asked more. The
exam will have 33% Internal Choice Questions. This time MCO i.e. Multiple Choice Questions will be asked more in the exam. The Ministry of Education had issued a notice to increase the number of such questions by 10% every year in the 10th and 12th standard examinations.
