Nine women and an auto rickshaw driver died on the spot in the accident. The other three injured women were immediately shifted to the hospital where they were also declared dead.
The other three have been hospitalized in critical condition. The auto was going from Gwalior to Chaman Park on Morena Road, while the bus was coming from Morena to Gwalior. The accident took place in front of Anandpur Trust Hospital.
Yesterday, all the women were in the same rickshaw. It is said that all the 12 women were riding in two auto rickshaws, but one auto rickshaw broke down on the way and the women in it were put in another auto rickshaw.
