The rising number of corona cases in the country has once again created an atmosphere of fear among the people. Many states have announced bans in response to the rising number of cases. Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh have imposed lockdowns in some cities, while Gujarat and Punjab have imposed night curfews. Apart from this, many states have decided to close schools and colleges till March 31 to prevent the spread of the epidemic. Online standards were also advised in the meantime. Several states have also decided to extend board exams.
Board exams of standard 10 and 12 will be offline
Amid a sharp rise in the Koro epidemic in Chhattisgarh, the Bhupesh Badal government has ordered all schools to remain closed till further notice. Apart from this, it has been decided to give promotion to students of all standards except 10th and 12th without examination. The order said that in accordance with all the guidelines issued by the Central and State Governments, the board examinations of Std. 10 and 12 will be conducted offline as per the earlier schedule by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE).
Close primary schools until further notice
The Rajasthan government said, "All primary schools in the state will remain closed till further orders." Apart from this, visitors entering the state from March 25 will have to show a negative report of the RT-PCR test. The market will be closed after 10 pm from March 22 in all municipal areas of the city.
Standards closed until March 31
Government and private schools in Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh have been closed till March 31. However, in the meantime online study will be done and all types of exams, including competitive exams, will be as per the pre-determined schedule.
Apart from this, schools in other states are also closed
At the same time, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab and Puducherry in the country have also been ordered to close schools to prevent the spread of Koro. The Punjab government has ordered closure of schools and all educational institutions till March 31.
