Two daughters were granted golden visas by the UAE government after the couple's murder.

The UAE government also granted visas to the grandparents along with the two daughters


Hiren Adhia, originally from Vadodara, and his wife Vidhi worked for an oil company in Dubai. A Pakistani servant also worked at his house.

In June 2018, Hiren Adhia saw a Pakistani servant stealing from a house. So the servant killed him with 15 blows of chappu and also slapped his wife with the wound of chappu. His eldest daughter reported the matter to police. Dubai police arrested the accused within 24 hours of the incident.

The UAE government came to the aid of the two daughters who became destitute in the incident and gave them both golden visas. 

Her grandparents were also granted golden visas and the government continued to guide both daughters. The cost of educating both the daughters in two universities was also borne by the government.
