Although everyone has their own way of walking, it is important to know some rules for healthy walking otherwise many problems can arise.
Learn the right way to walk.
Special care must be taken in body posture while walking. In such a position, the body should be kept in a very upright but comfortable position. Shoulders should not bend.
The base of your body is your feet, so when walking, keep in mind that when looking from the side, your feet should be with your knees and your hips should be with your knees. The neck should be straight and in a normal position. The shoulders should be backwards but in a comfortable position.
All the leg muscles work in a healthy way while walking. Whenever you step in such a position, place the heel of the foot first and keep the whole foot on the ground.
When walking, keep your elbows close to your body and rotate your arms. This will lengthen and strengthen your shoulder and back muscles.
Always keep your head and elbows slightly elevated while walking and walk forward. It keeps your body balanced while walking.
Initially, for warm-up, walk at a normal pace and breathe normally. After 10 to 15 minutes of warm-up, increase your running speed and maintain a high intensity for a while.
Avoid taking too long steps during high speed. Practice every day and try to maintain high speed for 30 minutes. However, there is no need to hurry for this. By increasing the time a little every day, you will gradually maintain the speed easily. After this, return to normal warm-up speed.
Warm the body for about 10 to 15 minutes. After this, if you want to continue walking, repeat the same sequence. If not, then sit down and relax for a while.
