after 10 pm Earlier, it was decided to close hotels, restaurants, food stalls, malls, gallas, tea stalls in 8 areas after 10 pm due to increasing cases of corona in Ahmedabad city. In this regard, the Municipal Corporation yesterday decided that hotels and restaurants in Jodhpur, South Bopal, Navrangpura, Bodakdev, Thaltej, Gota Paldi, Ghatlodia and Maninagar would be closed after 10 pm and Manekchowk and Raipur eateries in the city would also be closed.
Night curfew will be tightened in four metros of the state.
The
number of cases is also increasing at the Civil Hospital, which has seen an increase in Corona patients . The number of cases in civil hospitals has now crossed 100. Superintendent Dr. J.P. Modi said that 91 cases have been registered in the civil hospital so far, in which more than 60 patients are on ventilators.
There is a need to warn those who do not wear masks and do not keep social distance. People need to avoid going to weddings and crowded places. He further said that as part of the preparations at the Civil Hospital, 500 beds of emergency have been prepared in 1200-bed hospitals and more beds will be started if required.
